What we collect
When you order or send a message we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and anything you write in the notes, such as allergies. We keep a record of your orders. Your basket is kept only in your own browser until you order.
Why we use it
Only to prepare and deliver your orders, to contact you about them, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing without asking you first.
Who can see it
Our own team, and the service providers that run this website, its database and our email. They may only use your details to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting, normally six years. You can ask us to delete anything we don't need to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details by emailing contact@mayathetasteofgujarat.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
The public website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Your basket is saved in your browser's own storage so it survives a page reload. A single sign-in cookie is used only on our staff pages.
